Board of County Commissioners — 2026-03-31

On March 31, 2026 the Queen Anne’s County Commissioners held Budget Work Session #2 to review the proposed FY2027 budget with Budget & Finance staff, the County Administrator, Executive Assistant, and department leaders from Parks & Recreation, Public Works, Board of Elections, Airport, Golf Course, Public Landings, and Animal Services. The Board unanimously approved two letters of support: one for the Tower Gardens Small Watershed Grant Planning and Technical Assistance application (motion by Commissioner Dumenil, seconded by Commissioner Wilson) and one for Hope 4 All, Inc.’s Whitticoe/Wright Veterans Home Rehabilitation and Restoration Project (motion by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Dumenil). Commissioners Moran, Wilson, McLaughlin, and Dumenil voted yes; Commissioner Corchiarino was absent. The meeting adjourned at 5:56 p.m., with the next meeting set for April 9, 2026.
