Board of County Commissioners — 2026-03-26

This was the Board of County Commissioners’ Budget Work Session #1 on March 26, 2026 to review the proposed FY2027 budget with staff and department heads (including the Board of Education superintendent, library director, Emergency Services director, and the Sheriff). The Board unanimously voted (motion by Commissioner Dumenil, seconded by Commissioner McLaughlin) to fund a Paramedic I position, an EMT I position, and the operating costs for the 7th Unit in the Department of Emergency Services. The meeting included county budget staff and administrators, ended at 6:26 p.m., and the Board scheduled its next meeting for March 31, 2026.
