This is the public notice for the Board of Appeals meeting scheduled for February 18, 2026 at the Board office, 110 Vincit St., Centreville. Two applications were listed: Hearing No. 1 (POSTPONED) — Shipping Creek Partners, LLC (Case BOA-25-10-0231) seeks a variance to replace an existing pier “in kind” at a total length of approximately 162 ft from the mean high water line, exceeding the 150 ft limit; property at 304 Butlers Landing Drive near Stevensville (4th Election District), zoned NC-2 and in the Critical Area LDA. Hearing No. 2 (CANCELLED) — James E. and Frances P. Quirk (Case BOA-25-08-0227) sought a variance from buffer standards to construct 107 linear feet of a 174-foot fence around an existing pool within the 100 ft Critical Area Buffer; property at 104 Kirby’s Landing Rd. near Millington (7th Election District), zoned NC-2 and in the Critical Area LDA.
