The Centreville Town Council met November 6, 2025 and approved the October 16 minutes with one edit. Council authorized Finance Director Karen Luffman to lock an interest rate of 3.5% for November–April, approved closing Lawyers Row on December 6 for the Heck with the Malls holiday market, and donated $100 to the Queen Anne’s County Legacy Foundation in lieu of direct sponsorship for the December 6 Candlelight Tour. Ordinance 14-2025 (amending the town ethics code) was introduced with a public hearing set for December 4; Resolution 11-2025 amended a public works agreement to correct allocations from 16 to 17 and was approved. Resolution 12-2025 (revising the water and sewer allocation policy) was discussed at length and tabled so language can be added to prioritize long-waiting applicants; Resolution 13-2025, a Comcast cable franchise agreement, was approved after discussion about PEG stations, FCC limits on including Wi‑Fi/telephone revenue, installation practices, and customer service. The Council also approved end-of-year schedule changes (December and January meeting cancellations and additions, a December 12 Christmas breakfast, and a March 7 appreciation dinner) and heard regional COG updates on Sudlersville’s system transfer, Barclay infrastructure/grant, Church Hill staffing/anniversary, a Queen Anne kayak launch, and Queenstown channel dredging funding.
