These are the minutes of the Centreville Town Council meeting held October 2, 2025. The Council met in closed session beforehand to consult with counsel on business expansion and contracts (no actions taken). In open session: Fishing Derby winners were presented and Steven K. Kline was sworn into the Board of Appeals; a motion to approve 14 EDUs for the proposed Blue Crab Car Wash on Laser Drive (using new water‑recycling equipment) failed on a roll‑call vote and the applicants said they will return. Department updates included a conditional offer for a zoning administrator starting October 21, progress on an SHA deed, Community Legacy façade engineering funding, town office closures and orientation dates, and police reports about inoperable speed trailers (missing SIM cards/damaged panel), two new vehicles arriving in December, officer instructor training, and upcoming October events; Park Advisory and Planning Commission activity was also reported.
