Town Council — 2024-01-18

The Town Council met January 18, 2024; members approved the January 4 minutes and held a closed session earlier that discussed acquiring a piece of real property in town and legal options for code enforcement (no actions taken). The Council swore in Elizabeth Pearo to the Board of Supervisors of Elections and heard no citizen comments. On new business, the Council discussed disposition of town-owned properties (including the Pennsylvania Avenue parcel) and the Planning Commission’s idea to solicit Requests for Proposals rather than an outright sale; CBD zoning changes that would allow multi-family dwellings were noted.
