Town Council — 2023-12-14

These are the minutes of the Centreville Town Council meeting held December 14, 2023 at the Liberty Building. The council opened a public hearing on Resolution 11-2023 to adopt the Centreville Comprehensive Plan: 2040; no members of the public spoke for or against, and the hearing was adjourned. After discussion, the council unanimously approved Resolution 11-2023 to adopt the Comprehensive Plan; minutes note the Planning Commission had worked on the plan for two years and incorporated council-requested changes, and the hearing notice was published in a Queen Anne’s County newspaper. The agenda also noted the council received a mitigation plan from GTI to be considered at the January 4 meeting, and the meeting closed with a unanimous motion to enter a closed session to discuss personnel matters under Maryland law.
