Town Council — 2022-10-06

This is the Town of Centreville Town Council reorganization meeting held October 6, 2022, called to order at 7:00 p.m. Actions included approval of the September 15, 2022 minutes and acceptance of a closed-session statement (closed session on September 15 addressed personnel with no actions taken). The Council certified and accepted the October 3 election results, sworn in Jim A. Beauchamp and Daniel B. Worth, elected Steven K. Kline as Council President and Ashley H. Kaiser as Vice President, and appointed Sharon VanEmburgh as Town Attorney and Karen Luffman as Finance Officer for 2022–2023. President Kline also named council liaisons to several boards (Planning Commission, Park Advisory Board, Economic Development Ad Hoc Committee, Queen Anne’s County Council of Governments, and Maryland Municipal League); there were no citizen comments and the meeting adjourned after the appointments.
