Town Council — 2021-08-19

The Centreville Town Council met August 19, 2021 at 7:03 p.m. in the Liberty Building; President Timothy McCluskey, members Jeffrey Kiel and Shelby Anania, Town Manager Steve Walls, Chief Joe Saboury, Director of Public Works Kip Matthews, and Town Clerk Carolyn Brinkley were present. The Council unanimously approved the July 8, 2021 minutes and reviewed closed-session statements for June 8, July 22, July 28, August 5, and August 19, 2021 — each closed session addressed personnel matters (including Town Manager candidate interviews) and some included land acquisition discussion; no actions were taken in those closed sessions. A public hearing on Ordinance 09-2021 (Accessory Structures) was scheduled for 7:05 p.m., and Old Business listed second readings for Ordinances 08-2021 (Conveyance of Land), 09-2021, and 10-2021 (Election Provisions).
