Town Council — 2021-05-06

The Town Council held a budget work session on May 6, 2021 to discuss entering the Law Enforcement Officers’ Pension System (LEOPS) and to review the final FY2022 operating and capital drafts. Council members unanimously expressed support for joining LEOPS and requested that LEOPS be discussed during Chief Saboury’s report at the next regular meeting; Finance Officer Karen Luffman reported revisions to the proposed FY2022 budget and said the Town is proposed to receive $4.132 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), with $100,000 budgeted for project management and $1.062 million scheduled for projects. No citizens offered comments and the meeting adjourned at 6:56 p.m.
