This is the Town of Centreville Council FY2022 budget work session minutes from April 15, 2021. Council reviewed the final operating and capital drafts, noted the elimination of the county tax differential left a -$555,228 transfer to fund balance, and debated keeping a $60,000 line for a Pennsylvania Avenue building design. By unanimous consensus the Council agreed to raise the tax rate by $0.13 to a total of $0.535 per $100, requested citizen-facing explanatory materials and scheduled another budget work session for May 6, 2021.
