This document is the agenda and approved minutes for the Centreville Town Council meeting on February 4, 2021. The Council approved the January 21 minutes and unanimously approved Resolution 01-2021 amending the Personnel Manual leave donation policy and unanimously approved Whitman Requardt’s proposal to update the WWTP Expansion Preliminary Engineering Report for $14,920. Dustin T. Schulz was ceremonially sworn in as a Centreville police officer, and Mary Margaret Revell Goodwin gave an update on the Maryland Women’s Museum at Locust Hill/Turpin Farm. The Council moved forward with first readings of Ordinance 01-2021 to allow agricultural uses in the Planned Business District and Ordinance 02-2021 imposing a temporary moratorium on accessory structures over 400 sq. ft., directing both items to the February 17 Planning Commission agenda with public hearings. Council members were asked to discuss the tax differential with the Town Manager and Finance Officer and return with recommendations at the February 18 meeting; there were no citizen comments and one piece of correspondence about a utility bill noted.
