The Centreville Town Council met December 17, 2020 (Liberty Building) with President Timothy McCluskey presiding. The council unanimously approved the November 19, 2020 minutes, held a closed session at 6:30 p.m. to interview board/commission candidates (no actions taken), and had no public citizen comments. Christopher Tyler Clagett was ceremonially sworn in as a Centreville police officer; the council appointed Tim Zuella to the Centreville Planning Commission (term to April 2021) and Steve Layden to the Board of Zoning Appeals (term to April 2022). The Planning Commission made a presentation and two alternate positions remain open. SB & Company’s Chris Lehman presented the FY2020 audit; Finance Officer Karen Luffman will send a fixed asset report, the UFR was to be submitted by the end of December, and the financial statements are posted online. A public hearing opened at 8:02 p.m. on Resolution 12-2020 (charter amendment to increase membership of the Board of Supervisors of Elections); no one spoke for or against and a motion was made to adjourn the hearing.
