The Centreville Planning Commission met on September 15, 2021. The Commission approved the August 18, 2021 minutes and forwarded favorable recommendations to Town Council for Ordinance 12‑2021 (Chapter 170 text amendments with specified wording edits to §§170‑28 and 170‑29.1) and Ordinance 13‑2021 (Chapter 138 amendment changing minimum sidewalk width from 4 to 5 feet). Members were asked to review the first 40 pages of the September working draft of the Centreville Community Plan ahead of an October 6 work session; a citizen (Steve Layden) spoke, and Council President McCluskey reported that Charles “Chip” Koogle was approved as the new Town Manager and will begin shadowing on September 28.
