The Park Advisory Board met July 5, 2022 with Chair Mike Whitehill, Vice Chair Gene Magary, Secretary Sandy Simpson, member Priscilla Mileski, and Administrative Assistant Norma Robinson present. The board approved the June 7, 2022 minutes and approved amended park rules for the Wharf Park. They decided to order five new swings (two for the Wharf, three for Millstream Park) and three bulletin boards paid from the PAB budget, pursue additional grant funding through Community Parks and Playground to complete the Wharf Park, and relocate a pump-out facility from South Pocket Park to the Wharf meadow field. The board planned a public daffodil-planting project along Millstream Trail with donation drop-offs at Town Hall and the Farmers Market in September–October, and will ask the Town Council to approve a Wharf Park recognition event before the end of September 2022. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
