These are the Park Advisory Board minutes from the June 7, 2022 meeting. The board approved the May 3, 2022 minutes and unanimously approved purchasing four bulletin cases and four new swing sets (two for ages 2–5 and two for ages 5–12) with placements planned at Millstream Park and the Wharf. Wharf Park updates reported arrival of new eight-foot metal picnic tables (including one ADA-accessible table), new grills, and water connections to six dock power-towers and two yard hydrants; remaining grant funds were noted as available for park items. The board discussed Millstream Trail Phase II, a daffodil planting/community bulb donation plan (Ms. Mileski to draft a public notice), a possible pocket park near Pennsylvania Avenue, a request for a handicap parking sign at the Wharf, repair of a Millstream Park water spigot, and that Queen Anne’s County has requested an amendment to the Town’s Water & Sewer allocation policy for White Marsh Park; the County and Town are in dialogue. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m., and the next meeting was scheduled for July 5, 2022 at the Wharf (weather permitting).
