These are the minutes of the Park Advisory Board Tree Board meeting held via Zoom on March 2, 2021. The board approved two Washington College proposals (totaling $910) to update the Town's Tree Canopy map and statistics, approved a $55 donation to the Arbor Day Foundation (with council members' concerns about donations noted), and directed Town staff to start collecting and logging tree removal and planting data via applications and a spreadsheet. The board also discussed planting holly trees to honor Jack & Nancy Covert at Centreville Elementary but has not obtained Board of Education approval; planting could instead occur on county property or along the Millstream Trail as part of Arbor Day activities.
