The Park Advisory Board met on November 3, 2020 in Centreville and approved the October 6, 2020 meeting minutes. Elaine Studley of the QAC Legacy Foundation appeared and offered ornaments, swags, and possible funding assistance for Town holiday decorations. The Board voted unanimously to use $2,500 from the PAB budget to relocate and affix a swing set at the Wharf, and by consensus approved purchasing five additional Christmas trees (bringing the total to 12) for the Lawyers Row decorating contest (theme: "Centreville Christmas Memories or Dreams"); DPW reported seven working trees. The Town has submitted an RFP for Wharf boardwalk board replacement with a bid opening on November 6, decorating downtown is scheduled for November 22 (meet at Town Hall at noon), two people applied to join the PAB, and Town Hall holiday closures were announced.
