The Park Advisory Board met January 7, 2020 and approved the December 4, 2019 minutes. In old business the board agreed to place a bench at each observation deck along the Millstream Trail, noted that Retallick volunteered to grade the Millstream parking area, and confirmed that Priscilla Mileski will continue posting and updating community information in the display cases at Millstream Park and the Wharf; Unity Landscaping has completed most landscaping at the Wharf and the Town submitted an application for a Waterway Improvement Grant. Members reported on the Christmas Tree decorating contest and outreach plans. For new business the board received and unanimously adopted the annual PAB report for 2019 (the minutes contain a typographical reference to “2079”); Mileski proposed adding artwork or a sculpture at Millstream Park and noted possible grant assistance. Announcements included the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on January 18 (RSVP) and a Town Hall closure on January 20; the meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m. with the next meeting set for February 4, 2020.
