The minutes and agenda from the April 28, 2026 Centreville Economic Development Authority (CEDA) meeting record introductions of newly commissioned board members, a presentation of the final 2015 RKG Associates economic plan, and a review of supporting resources. Staff noted the Centreville Main Street Manager (Carol D’Agostino) will present Boom Tracker materials at the next meeting, Queen Anne’s County Economic Development representatives are willing to attend CEDA, and the Town — pending FY27 budget approval — plans to create a full‑time Economic Development Manager position. Members discussed near‑term priorities including filling the FBI Annex building, reviewing an older plan for the Town‑owned Pennsylvania Avenue lot, pursuing incubator or vacant commercial space solutions, creating an inventory of available commercial properties, exploring an Arts and Entertainment District, and adding more events on the Courthouse Green. No citizen comments were offered; the board set regular meetings for the third Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. and scheduled the next meeting for May 19, 2026, where a Chair will be appointed.
