The Board of Supervisors of Elections met August 19, 2021, at Centreville Town Hall (called to order at 6:03 p.m.) with Chair Jim Watson, members Nancy Weibell, Jennifer Holdgreve, Chrissy Chisolm, and Town Clerk Carolyn Brinkley present. The board approved the August 20, 2020 minutes and reviewed Certificates of Nomination submitted by Eric B. Johnson, Jr., Ashley H. Kaiser, and Timothy E. McCluskey; the Centreville Ethics Commission found their financial disclosures in order and the Queen Anne’s County Board of Elections confirmed each candidate met voter-registration and residency/age qualifications. The board unanimously accepted all three nominations, decided not to add extra absentee ballot options beyond standard requests, agreed to use plexiglass, facemasks, hand sanitizer, disposable pens, and wipes on election day, and discussed (but did not set a date for) staffing a table at a Symphony Village Meet and Greet. No citizens commented; the board scheduled its next meeting for August 31 at 5:00 p.m. and adjourned at 6:24 p.m.
