Please make review fee checks payable to the Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County. Fees are due when the initial plan submittal is made to the Department of Planning.

The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners, with the recommendation of the Economic Development Commission, may exempt development review fees for qualified Economic Development projects provided the Commissioners determine the Economic Development project will provide a significant economic benefit to Queen Anne’s County in terms of:

1. Number of Quality Jobs created;

2. An increase in the tax base; or,

3. Diversity in the work place.

The Director of Planning & Zoning and/or Public Works may waive part/all fees that are determined to be duplicative or significantly in excess of the cost to provide the Department(s) development review services.
