Pursuant to the Town of Centreville Charter, no person shall file a Certificate of Nomination for more than one elective public office at any time. Qualifications to be a Town Council Member are as follows: • Candidate must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age; • Candidate must have resided in the Town for at least two (2) years immediately preceding their election; • and Candidate shall be a registered voter of the Town of Centreville for at least six (6) months immediately preceding their election. One (1) seat is open for the October 7, 2024 election which is a three- year term. All Certificates of Nomination and Financial Disclosure Statements must be filed in Town Hall during normal business hours until 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2024, to be eligible for inclusion on the October 7, 2024 ballot.
