Notice that Corsica Watershed Awareness Day will be held Saturday, September 20 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bloomfield Farm on Rt. 213 in Centreville. The event features free environmental education and exhibits, food, hayrides, pond fishing, a petting zoo, pony rides, pumpkin and face painting, crafts, and live entertainment by Danny Paisley and The Southern Grass; the first 150 families will receive a free native tree. For more information call Queen Anne’s Office of Tourism at 410-604-2100 or visit www.corsicariverconservancy.org or www.corsicariver.com, and attendees are reminded that land activities affect the Corsica River and the Chesapeake Bay.
