Bridge Replacement Planned; Public Meeting Scheduled The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will replace the bridge on MD 213 (Centreville Road) over Old Mill Stream Branch in Centreville, Queen Anne’s County. The project is currently in the design phase and is on schedule to begin construction in Fall 2018.
For additional information, you are invited to attend a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2018. The informational meeting will familiarize attendees with the project and provide an opportunity to discuss project details. Maps and displays will provide project information, and MDOT SHA representatives will be available to answer project-related questions. There will be no formal presentation. You may arrive at

The two-lane bridge carrying MD 213 over Old Mill Stream Branch was originally constructed in 1912 and rehabilitated and widened Mr. Justin Mohr, PE, MDOT SHA Project Engineer in 1945. While the bridge is structurally safe for travel, it is in poor Maryland Department of Transportation condition and nearing the end of its useful life, requiring the bridge to State Highway Administration be replaced.
