This appendix lists the Town of Centreville’s minimum required water and wastewater operations for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), the Centreville Water Reuse Farm, and the Town’s five wastewater pump stations. Duties specified include timely submission of Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) reports, emergency/alarm response, daily operation logs and meter readings, operation and maintenance per MDE and manufacturer instructions (Hungerford and Terry for the WTP; Aqua Aerobics for the WWTP), daily process-control sampling and testing, programming and maintaining automated samplers and chain-of-custody forms while coordinating sample pickup with the Town’s contracted lab, and ordering/maintaining required chemicals and lab supplies (chemicals from Intercoastal Trading Co., lab work billed to the Town by Chesapeake Environmental Lab).

Coordinate with the Town of Centreville’s current contracted lab (Chesapeake Environmental Lab – billed directly to the Town) for pick up and scheduling. ▪ Conduct all daily WTP operation process control sampling and testing as required by MDE permits and to ensure optimal operations of the Town’s WTP. ▪ Conduct all daily maintenance required to keep WTP’s operating optimally. Examples, but not limited to: filling chemical feed tanks, etc. ▪ Order and maintain an adequate supply of required chemicals (from Intercoastal Trading Co. – billed directly to the Town) and lab supplies for the operation of the WTP’s.
