This is the Centreville Police Department’s April 2026 monthly overview to Town Council. In April officers made a total of 6 arrests (4 adult criminal arrests and 2 juvenile arrests), issued 173 motor vehicle warnings, 38 non-arrestable traffic citations, 17 safety equipment repair orders, 1 DWI, and conducted 8 commercial vehicle inspections. The Redspeed automated speed cameras at Railroad Avenue (Queen Anne’s County High School), Watson Rd, and Chesterfield issued a combined 37 speed violations. Officers responded to 766 calls for service in April (down from 803 in March); highlighted incidents include 6 assault/domestics, 3 MDOP, 4 frauds, 1 burglary, and 390 business/residential patrol checks.
