Town Council of Centreville Donation Request The Town Council of Centreville will no longer consider donation requests during Town Council meetings. Anyone interested in submitting a donation request to the Town Council of Centreville will be required to complete the application form and submit the required documents before any request is considered. Applications are due by February 27, 2026, for consideration in the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget
which begins on July 1, 2026.

Applications submitted after the February 27, 2026, deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis, contingent upon available funding.
Program Details
• The following items must be submitted for consideration:
o Complete the application form provided in full o Provide a line-item budget indicating how the Town funds will be used o Submit supporting documentation, including a current SDAT Certificate of Good Standing with the State of Maryland and the organization’s type (i.e. nonprofit, for-profit, etc.) o For nonprofit organizations, proof of 501(c)(3) status or equivalent designation o Provide most recent financial statements, such as a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, or
IRS Form 990 o A document outlining the organization’s mission, goals, and recent accomplishments o A detailed explanation of how the project/event/program will directly benefit the Town of Centreville residents and businesses o Only organizations located within the town limits of Centreville will be considered o To maintain transparency, all applications are subject to audit to ensure funds are used as
planned o A final report will be due by June 15, 2027, and must show the following:
▪ A comprehensive summary of project outcomes
▪ Detailed financial documentation, including invoices and receipts
