NOTICE OF HEARING
Application has been made to the Town of Centreville Board of Zoning Appeals
by Mr. Winfield Scott Jones, Case No. V-01-26, requesting a variance requesting two (2)
variances under the authority of Chapter 170, Article VI, Section 170-39 (C) of the
Zoning Ordinance from the strict application of Chapter 170-39 Accessory Uses and
Structures; Fences, and Chapter 170, Article IX, Attachment 2, Schedule of Zoning
Regulations of the Town Code, as follows:
1. A variance to permit the construction of an accessory structure (shed) on a corner
lot; and
2. A variance to exceed the maximum allowable 30% lot coverage in the R-2
district.
The property is located at 102-110 Price Street, which is zoned R-2 and is further
described as Parcel 0541, Tax Map 044C, Third Election District, Queen Anne’s County,
Maryland. It is owned by Winfield Scott Jones.
Take notice that this application shall be considered at a public hearing on
Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the
Liberty Building at 107 N. Liberty Street, Centreville, MD 21617.
