This is the Centreville Police Department’s March 2025 monthly overview for the Town Council. In March officers made a total of 3 criminal (adult) arrests and 0 juvenile arrests, issued 255 motor vehicle warnings, 42 traffic/non-arrestable citations, 25 safety equipment repair orders, and conducted 33 commercial vehicle inspections. Officers responded to 787 calls for service in March, including 4 assault/domestic incidents, 3 MDOP, 20 K9 scans, 13 assists to other agencies, 5 911 hangups, 9 welfare checks, 3 thefts, 4 frauds, and 296 business/residential patrol checks. The Redspeed automated speed cameras (Railroad Ave at Queen Anne’s County High School, Watson Rd, and Chesterfield) issued a combined 25 speed-violation citations, and listed special assignments included psychological evaluations, a Delaware Police Academy graduation, defensive tactics instructor training at Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy, and emergency petition training with Easton PD.
