This is the Town of Centreville public event permit application and instructions for 2024–25. Applicants must pay a $50 user fee and submit at least 6 weeks before the event (8 weeks if alcohol is planned), include an event map, an emergency plan if applicable, and a certificate of liability insurance ($1,000,000 CSL) naming the Town of Centreville for the event date; food vendors require product liability and County Health Department approval. The form asks for event details (dates, times, location, expected attendance), vendor lists, trash/recycling and restroom plans, and whether roads or sidewalks will be impacted; unauthorized use of the Town seal can revoke a permit. Special rules apply for using County property or closing Lawyers Row/Broadway (separate county agreements and insurance required), and alcohol service requires an alcohol management plan plus County or State liquor approvals and a Town Council waiver; incomplete applications (missing fee or required insurance) will not be accepted. The form includes a Town approval checklist and a signature line for the responsible person.
