Town Projects: Mr. Whitehill advised that the proposed development lor the Carter Farm property, cunently owned by Chesterfield LLC, includes an eight-foot-wide trail built around the entire perimeter of the development. The Parks Board and Town Council will need to endorse a variance with the Critical Area Commission that will help sponsor this trail. The MC Ventures project between the foot of Windsor
and Glendale will include a sidewalk and asphalt path connection to the trail.
Mr. Whitehill continues to work on behalf of the Town to try to save or obtain a portion ofthe old rails before the Rails-to-Trails auction. He presented a Centreville Community Plan map to show the rail sites that could be developed into future Centreville trails.
Mr. Whitehill asked the PAB members to present a project they endorse at the next PAB meeting. We can then decide how we can approach these ideas financially and with community involvement.
