This is Chapter 11 of the Town of Centreville code, the "Amusement Arcades and Pool Halls Ordinance," which defines terms and sets rules for arcades and pool halls. It defines an amusement arcade/pool hall (four or more amusement devices or two or more pool tables), amusement devices, school-age children (K–12), and responsible adult (an employee over 18). The ordinance prohibits school-age children from being admitted to amusement arcades during regular school hours and forbids persons under 16 from playing pool or billiards. It requires at least one responsible adult employee to be present whenever an arcade or pool hall is open. Violations are municipal infractions subject to penalties under §1-14.B.5.b; the chapter notes adoption in 1995, a complete amendment in 2001, and penalty-related amendments/resolutions in 2024–2025.
